RE: Book Nook

We are happy to announce the opening of our Glen Book Nook Library. This email is for your information on the acceptable use of our library. Initially the library will be filled by board members and any neighbors who are already aware of our new endeavor.

Below is the suggested and appropriate library etiquette:

• As you borrow a book, bring and replace the space with a book you recommend. (one for one).
• Plan to return the borrowed book and repeat the above cycle each time bringing one book to replace what you borrowed.
• Do not place “how-to” books, cook books, manuals, travel brochures, religious or political materials in the library.
• This is not a place to get rid of unwanted books. Don’t plan on getting back any books you’ve donated to the library.
• Use discretion and only contribute books recommended from Best Selling lists, Book Store suggestions or Book Club selections.
• Every 3-4 months, books will be donated to Community Agencies, and new Inventory can be stocked. We will let residents know of new donation dates.
• THE BOOK NOOK IS FOR USE BY GLEN RESIDENTS ONLY!! (Due to limited space)
• If the library is full, DO NOT donate and wait for the next designated donation day.
• Close the door securely and gently with every use.
